I am writing to file a complaint regarding an experience I had today at 13:38:09 at your Subway location.

I ordered a roast beef sub, and after receiving it, I noticed that the bread was moldy. I brought this to the attention of the only employee working at the time (a young Hispanic female with braces).

When I told her the bread was moldy, she stated that it was from the tray and then asked if I wanted the sandwich remade.

While I did appreciate the offer to remake the sandwich, I am very concerned that moldy bread was available and served in the first place. This is a serious food safety issue and could have made someone very sick. Additionally, the response I received did not reflect the level of concern I would expect for a situation involving moldy food.

I also want to note that the employee was quite rude from the start.

When we first arrived, I even questioned whether I should just go to the other location down the road, and I was met with attitude before I even ordered. After discovering the mold and the way the situation was handled, I felt uncomfortable and did not want to push the situation further in person because of the employees behavior.

I have photos of the moldy sandwich, a video of it, and a photo of the receipt documenting this incident.

I believe this situation needs to be addressed to ensure better food safety practices, proper stock rotation, and employee training so this does not happen to anyone else.

Preferred solution: I would like them to take better precautionary measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

That's not mold. The employee was being nice in offering to remake your sandwich. Stop wilding out.
