I went into the subway that is on Road Ranger in Ottawa, Illinois. I wanted to buy cookies, and I couldn't because they were eating at a potluck or Christmas party and refused to help customers with their ordering.
She stated she would be with me as soon as she got done eating her lunch, and every customer that was in there left.
That is not customer service at all, so please have a talk with the manager. Please.

Good afternoon. I don't expect anyone with any authority at Subway to get this or to do anything about it if they do get it. I'm writing it anyway, so settle in; it's a long one.
On July 24th, 2025, my 31 y/o daughter and 8 y/o granddaughter stopped in our local Walmart, No. 526 in Moss Bluff, Louisiana, to do some shopping. There is a Subway restaurant in this Walmart. While they were there, the girls picked up some food from the Walmart deli and went into the Subway to sit and eat. While eating, a male employee came over and pointed to a sign on the wall. The sign noted that outside food was not allowed in the restaurant, which my daughter didn't know. So my daughter said something like, 'I guess we need to go.' At which point, the employee said something like, 'I didn't say you had to leave.' And my daughter told him they would leave anyway and began gathering their things. As you can imagine, they were embarrassed. I need to add at this time that there was a Walmart employee wearing the blue vest eating deli food from Walmart in the Subway who did not have the sign on the wall pointed out to her.
The employee then went in the back and came out with a large, loud woman who may have been the manager. (Large and loud are only thrown in so you can imagine this from the perspective of an 8 y/o.)
This woman began to tell my daughter (loudly) that she had been told to leave, so she needed to go. My daughter told her she was leaving. She was in the process of taking some things out of a bag so she could put their food in it. The woman told her it did not look like she was leaving since she was still taking things out of her bag. My daughter tried to explain what she was doing, but the woman was still talking and getting louder. She was also gesturing some, and at this point, my granddaughter was scared and started crying. Can you just imagine that?
My daughter and granddaughter left your restaurant embarrassed, scared, and angry, vowing never to go back.
I really hope this letter reaches you, Mr. Jonathan Fitzpatrick, new CEO of Subway. Because if this is how you plan to, and I quote, 'revive Subway's place in the fast food hierarchy,' I don't think it will work.
This kind of customer service may be why Subway had a customer satisfaction score of 74 out of 100, below the national average.
People cannot be allowed to treat others like this. But they do because no one holds them accountable for their actions. Who did this woman think she was? This situation could have been handled in a much nicer way. There was no reason to humiliate a mother and make her child cry for such a minor thing.
My daughter never raised her voice or said anything confrontational. That's just not who she is.
I, for one, am an ex-Subway patron. And shame on your employee for making my granddaughter cry.

My daughter and I went half on a deal, but you could only get the deal through the app. She dressed her sandwich through the app; we made the purchase in-store so I could dress my own.
The employees would not let me dress my sandwich; they insisted I had to get the dressing on the receipt. A lot of stuff she had, I didn't want or even eat. They were very insistent that I couldn't change anything, so she had to take both sandwiches. There is not a number for a customer complaint, and the automated system didn't address my concerns.
The store location is 8005 West Florissant. Never again.

Ive been trying to resolve this issue all morning since 3 oclock.

I've tried deleting the website and going right back, and it's the same problem. I love you guys, but if I can't get this corrected, I'm gonna have to go with another brand. I've also lost a good many points. I don't even know how many because I've been buying straight from my store.
They say they can't do anything about the problem, but they see it on my iPhone. It just doesn't make sense. Tell me how to correct this; it would be greatly appreciated.

The subway in Hartwell, Georgia, does not accept coupons or national promotions. Why is this possible?
They need to remove the subway sign over the door.

Subway did not honor my coupon/two footlong for I forgot now , I think for $14.99appox. /anyway I wanted two pastrami’s -they said that not included/I said where does it state that she replied her manager said so !
I had coupon they did not honor it /two foot long for $13.99/they said no pastrami, I asked where does it state on the coupon - the clerk stated that what the manager had said! Location midtown shopping center between Venice & pico Blvd.

Order sent to the wrong restaurant. The restaurant where it was sent won't pick the phone up.
I've called 15-20 times. I called immediately after the order went through on the app.
I used my gift card to purchase. I want my money back.

I placed an online order for delivery today, which is October 20, 2025. It stated that my order would be delivered between 15 to 25 mins.
Once I submitted my order with payment, it changed to October 21, 2025, at 2:29 am. No Subway is open that time of night, and the app doesn't give me the option to cancel or anything.
I called the store, and the lady was rude and of no help. I have yet to receive my food or refund.

Inside my Footlong Tuna Sandwich, there were 90% vegetables and only 5% tuna.

Looks like you are just as childish as your daughter. Giving me a thumbs down because I hurt your feelings. Your family is a bunch of losers.
I know that you still like to cuddle your daughter, but at the age of 31 she is not a girl. She is a grown woman. While the standards should apply to the Walmart employee(who probably has a lunch room to eat) your daughter need to to fight her own battles.
I am very confused. When I posted this I thought i was contacting the people at Subway.
I did not realize this was some kind of public forum.
I do not need or want any advise from any of you. People need to treat other people with respect and that is all I'm trying to advocate for.
Well, if you do not want others to comment, do not post on a public forum. You keep referring to your 31-year-old daughter as a girl.
She has to one day learn to fight her own battles. Especially if she is a parent.
First you weren't there. Second, your daughter was wrong. End of story.
How could she be wrong if she was leaving? It's not a matter of right and wrong.
It's about treating people with respect. But I see from your comment that you probably don't know a lot about that
