Subway - Complaint about employee
I went to the subway in Chillicothe that is inside of Walmart on 1/31/18 with my daughter. My daughter is 6 years old.
My daughter was trying to figuare our what she wanted on her sub. She is very shy. She told me she wanted bacon. I said, โok what else would you like on your sub.โMy daughter said she wanted chicken.
The employee named Rebecca then asked my daughter what cheese she wanted. My daughter pointed to the shredded cheese which was behind the bacon. The employee Rebecca then yelled, โYES I WILL GET THE BACON WHAT CHEESE DO YOU WANT!โ I understand Rebecca was mistaking what my daughter was saying, but there was no need for her outburst. My daughter began to cry and hug me.
She was scared and horrified. I then just told the lady a cheese, and got my daughters sub made. While my daughters sub was toasting I began to tell Rebecca what I wanted on my sub. While Rebecca was making my sub the toaster started beeping.
Rebecca then said, โyeah I hear you {{Redacted}}โ to the toaster. Once again unnecessary and just rude. My child was right there and heard her. While I checked out, Rebecca kept looking at the clock.
She then said, โonly 30 more minutes.โ I was extremely upset but didnโt want my food to be messed with. We are from Columbus and weโre grabbing a bite to eat real quick. So I asked for the district managerโs number after my transaction to report the incident. The young kid that was working read off a number from the back.
The number was a disconnected phone. Either the kid lied or the number needs updated at that location. After getting the number I said, โI do not appreciate the way you spoke to my daughter. There was absolutely no need for that.โ I then went to the fountain machine to get my drink which is close to the employee back room.
I overheard Rebecca talking to someone about the incident. She was calling me an {{Redacted}}, how I need to deal with my child, etc. My reason for this complaint isnโt to try to get something for free or anything like that. I honestly think Rebecca should be fired.
We all have bad days at work, but Rebecca is obviously way to comfortable acting like this in the work place. Imagine what isnโt being reported.
I am not sure if she is a manager or what her specific position is, but I do not believe this is the way you folks at subway would like your brand to look. Thank you and I hope to hear from you.

This is wrong. I work in subway myself, part time aswell as attending university.
I myself find working there stressful, but I would never speak to or about a customer like this. Especially a child.
I get along with all customers and even have laughs with them. I agree that this girl should be fired, and on behalf of subway I do apologise for how this girl has disgraced the name and how she upset you and your daughter.
Contact Corporate and they will send your concerns to the owner.

She needs her mouth washed out with some strong soap.
Then, while the little girl is not looking, slapped in the face.
I don't recommend feeding that sort of food to a 6 year old or getting them into the habit of frequenting such establishments for any number of reasons.
You try to provide a decent and respectable example for the child at all times but sometimes the venue itself intrudes.

it makes you look like an *** and nobody likes an *** Just because you raise your kids with strict rules about what they should or shouldn't eat, does not give you the right too judge others for that! 100 percent accurate!
