Subway - Duvall, WA. Horrible service & very dirty.
I needed a few sandwiches (about 10) so I called Subway in Duvall to pre-order them and was shocked by what I was told. The girl said she was "too busy" to help me and that I would have to call back in 15 or 20 min. Just to see what would happen next, I called back in 20 minutes and attempted to pre-order the sandwiches again. The same girl answered and once again told me that "they" were "too busy" for her to take my order.
I actually told her that I couldn't wait any longer and would just go elsewhere. She said "All right. Sorry about that." Later that evening, my husband went over there to see if he could talk to someone in management only to find three non-management people there standing around talking on their cell phones, food all over the floor and all the ingredients behind the counter sitting open, drying out with a bunch of flies on everything.
Uh...thanks, but no thanks. I'll be going to Quiznos from now on.

Nice fast service and fresh breads all the time.
Sounds to me like a Quiznos' employee trying to steal SUBWAY's business!
As a Subway manager I would never turn an order away. If someone wants to order 10 sandwiches on the phone, or in the store itself the customers behind her will be waiting.
She has the right to order anything she wants. I encourage large orders. I even offer fax in orders.
I do agree however, that placing your order before 11 would be helpful.
Our store is crazy busy everyday and an order that size does slow down the line.
Customers do get annoyed about it, but every customer is important. With proper training a line should be able to get 10 sandwiches out in about 3 minutes if they are not toasted.
Listen fat *** there busy making sandwhichs if you want your sandwichs so bad get off your fat lazy *** n come wait in line.
It is unfortunate that this customer had this experience.I believe she should have been able to get her order taken no matter what time of day it is.I am new to Subway and I am very impressed with the freshness of the food.If the public knew the policies behind the food they would be impressed.
There are plenty of employees scheduled during the one hour this store has a rush in the afternoon. Two making sandwiches and one float to clean and take calls.I encourage you to give us another try. Thank you,
Joanne Wolfe
I have never worked at the subway but I have worked at one and our food is always covered and handled properly and we always take phone orders maybe this subway needs some more employees if the ones they have cant handle all of the work that needs to be done
and we were told not to take call-in orders any time between 11-2. This was the time we called our "lunch rush" and was also a time when we were making 25-50 sandwiches per hour (that's a LOT, in case you didn't know; it's complete chaos during lunch). So, the employee just did what their manager told them to do.
You would have much better luck calling BEFORE lunch (and that's the nice thing to do anyway, to give them some time before hoards of people come in to make the sandwiches).
Also, the food is almost never covered unless it's exceptionally slow, so don't expect this at any Subway you go to.
And you should have asked the names of the employees on their cell phones because that's definitely something they can get fired over or fined for, especially if the lobby was not sparkling clean.
Places like this don't clean their act up unless you say something to management!
They havwe signs posted that say you can call and order ahead. Would you want to be the one on your lunch break stuck behind the lady ordering ten sandwiches?
I wouldn't. ***
drive your lazy *** over to subway and get the sammies made.
